Time for some Summer skirts!
Suddenly when spring and summer hits, we suddenly want to wear those floral prints and skirts are my favorite way to add a variety to my everyday style, specially when you have been wearing tights and jeans because its way too cold for anything else.
In this post, I am sharing my top 5 styles that are also popular but at the sometime easy to wear and style in your everyday outfits.
You don’t really need a lot of them as long as you have 1 that you can style in different ways, you should be good.
What I am covering in this post:
Bias Skirt

Over the years, Bias skirts have become kind of a staple in a lot of our wardrobe and daily styles.
Typically made of satin material, but always, they are an easy slip on skirt that you can wear a create feminine as well sporty looks.
Hence they are a great wardrobe staple to have.
I usually like to pair something oversized like an oversized sweater, top or with puff sleeve details to compliment the a line style of the skirt.
This is one of the easiest style to wear and if you own one, will come in handy for beach vacations, garden parties, and even somewhere fancy.
I also love how effortless they make me look with the simple silhouette. I love how you can wear it with anything and make that outfit look cuter instantly.

Floral Mini Skirt

Mini skirts are my favorite way of looking chic and bring some tropical vibe to my summer outfits with some floral prints on them. Though I love them a lot but it can be sometimes a bit intimidating to wear them specially as we are getting older.
I love more of modest mini skirts that mid thigh long specially for my shorter torso body type.
These can also go as great swim cover ups for beach days or pool days. Or you can layer it with blazers and strappy sandals for chic elegant look.
These are a must if you live in a really hot summer weather place. The floral prints add more fun and style to the mini skirt, plus this means you can easily pair them with a plain T shirt and tick look chic.

Mini skirts are also a great substitute for shorts in summer and my go to way of making my t shirt outfits look a bit different.
And they look great on any body type specially if you like flare style.
Below are some of my favorite outfit ideas with a Floral mini skirt.

Tiered Midi Skirt

Midi skirts are the most comfortable style for summer which also feels modest and elegant. But my favorite style of midi skirt for summer are tiered midi skirts.
There are two tiered styles, one withe full layered tiered and the other one is the tiered look with the stitching details.
I always prefer the later for summer because it feels more free and has less layers making it breathable for summer.
I have always been comfortable with midi skirts and they make for an excellent swim cover up.
They can also be great for work because of the length and comfy to wear at home or if you want to go outt and about.

Wrap Skirt

These are one of the most versatile skirts that you could own and wear. I love how they can easily transition from work to beach and still look cute.
Because of the wrap nature, they are easy to put on and have room to breathe as well.
If you are scared of the wrap style, there are also so many faux wrap style skirts available which look like wrap skirts but you dont have to worry about it slipping at any minute
Hack: If you feel like the knots don’t hold properly all day, use a safety pin to pin the the wrap section and then knot over. This will help you keep the wrap secure even when the knot is open. Nice, isntt it!
Though there are so many styles and colors available, because these are a summer staple, I love wearing floral prints. And I have styled one for you below.

Floral Print Maxi Skirt

Maxi skirts are a great alternative to maxi dresses where you can keep wearing them with different tops to mix it up. It also looks very elegant and classy if you style it the right way.
I absolutely love floral print maxi skirts that I can pair with either button down shirt or t shirts and come up with so many outfit ideas.
if you don’t like wrap skirts, this could be the skirt for you that you can carry for beach vacation as well as wear everyday and feel free compared to wearing pants.
Honestly, this is the reason I love summer, I can finally wear something airy and breathable! Hahaha!

Which is your most go to style of skirt. Do you love wearing skirts more or you are strictly jeans or shorts kind of a gal.
