Isn’t this the best time of the year! I grew up in a tropical location, so I am always amazed and aww struck by the winter Christmas. Love to watch houses covered with snow, trees with hint of snow tip and surrounded by Christmas lights. It just is the Christmas wonderland. Not just the decorations, but the whole vibe of things slowing down not because its snowing, but because you want to stop or slow down to enjoy the moment of admiring nature’s beauty in its fullest. I have always been an advent admirer of the wonders of nature, snow is one of them.
As we move into September which I can’t even believe that is already here, we start dreaming about cooler breeze and all the earthy hues everywhere around us. When the days get shorter and the nights cooler where we want to cozy up near the fireplace, we tend to forget to stay active and all other goals that we had sworn on in the beginning of summer.
Honestly, I can say that as my daughter’s years in school progressed my energy for shopping for her back to school items went down. 😂😂🤣 Sorry, didn’t mean it that I don’t care about having all her back to school items being ready before school. Its just like having your first baby. You are so anxious and excited in so many ways, for the day and want to make sure everything would be perfect. Ready for the snap on the day, but as the years progress, you know exactly what to expect.
Saanvi is finally out of school and even though, its exciting and fun to get a break, and finally being able to not get up super early in the morning to head to school, the downside are summer camps, and I know kids enjoy there and all of that, but as parents we probably are never prepared enough for summer camp, which seems like the second school now a days.
It’s finally Summer Vacation time In Sahoo Household. Even though it feels like things should slow down but its still pretty hectic, not really sure why is that the case. I guess maybe because I am reminded of my summer vacations which were filled with trips with family and all the fun times with my cousins.
Growing up in a small town with not much technology for entertainment, Nature was my best friend! As a child I could play for hours outside. You would be surprised that I was a Tom Boy in nature, but my love of nature brought in the artistic side of me. I could spend hours staring at the stars in the sky and dreaming about what would be the possibilities if I could travel to the stars. I could roam around in Mango Forest (YES! My small town in India had a forest full of Mango trees. Shout out below if you want to know more about it! ) day dreaming about all the adventures I could go on if this was the Amazon forest.
