I just cant believe that its already middle of August, and you know what this means. Fall is fast approaching. I know for most of us, this year has been a blur. I definitely felt that way. I think I wasn’t prepared for Spring to be over and now I am not ready for fall to arrive. But as the wise say, time waits or no-one.
I still am probably shopping for summer wear and specially with all the sale going on, who can resist it. While the temperatures in California is still sky rocketing, I really want to prepare myself to enjoy fall this time unlike summer which somehow slipped by.

I bought this pretty dress from Cece, which looked so pretty and the bright green color looks so chic and works well with so many pieced in my closet. The fabric of the dress is pretty lightweight which makes it ideal for summer. But, I also want to wear it in fall and possibly winter if I can. This is my goal for my wardrobe always, to be able to maximize my wardrobe for all seasons.
I styled this dress 3 different ways for fall which is an easy and gradual transition.
Bohemian Style
This is the best and easy transition for any printed dress. Adding a bohemian belt and pairing it with boots, would transform the look into a fall outfit. Now, the hat is optional, but I feel like it completes the outfit. What do you think? The boots also give you a bit of warmth if there is a cold breeze which I have to tell you was not the case when I was getting this photoshoot done. These boots from coach are my absolute best purchase, and I will tell you this that a pair of white boots are a must for any fall wardrobe. They add a brighter touch to the otherwise dark tones that we usually go for.

What I am Wearing
Effortless Look
This is my go to style with any dress. Adding a trench coat is an excellent way of layering a dress. It instantly adds and effortless sophistication to the whole look and adds an extra layer of warmth when you are feeling cold. I also find that pairing a colorful dress with a neutral trench coat also adds a classic approach to the look. I swapped the sandals with loafers which makes this whole look work appropriate and also great for everyday looks. The Trench coat is my absolute favorite and is from Mango.

Structured Look
I have always love missing colors a bit, so thought of adding a touch of yellow to the green with this dull yellow blazer from Club Monaco. Also, I feel like both the colors go together very well. I swapped the sandals with white mules that complimented the prints of the dress and added a neutral touch to the look. You can either just wear a blazer, but I wanted to add a belt that creates a waistline and structure to the outfit. And since the dress is sleeveless, it also adds a bit of warmth. The mules add a bit of western touch to the look with the studs.
