How To Wear Tulle Skirts – Holiday & Everyday Outfits

What I am covering in this post

I have always had an inclination for Tulle skirts, they are such an effortless way of making any outfit chic and elegant. And they add a fairytale touch to your look. While traditional tulle skirts were more voluminous and really fancy to wear, these days we have seen so many variations of the skirt that can also be worn for everyday looks.

I found this cure straight Tulle skirt from Chicwish and honestly, I only own there tulle skirts. The brand masters in making some amazing tulle skirts that will work for any body type. And they are the best budget friendly tulle skirts out there in my opinion. This year for holiday I was looking for a non traditional colored Tulle skirt. I already owned black and nude, and red looks too obvious, so found this mix of sage and teal tulle skirt from Chicwish that caught my eye and I could not let go.

The skirt has a feminine touch to it with the color and yet looks modern and sophisticated with the A-line style and a subtle frill at the end. I created 3 different looks for this outfit and also created some everyday looks that you can checkout if you are like me and love a good tulle skirt.

I also own this skirt in black, and I might end up pulling the plug for other colors.

Outfit 1

I wanted to create a monochromatic look, but at the sometime did not want to match the color of the top with the bottom, so picked a green sweater with this tulle skirt. You can also pair sage, darker greens, pastel greens with the color with will also look amazing. I added a pair of strappy sandals that gives it a dressed up look and wore a faux fur coat which is my got to dressed up coat for winter. This outfit looks feminine and sophisticated. What’s your thoughts?

This is more of an effortless modern everyday look that you can wear with a tulle skirt. Adding an oversize piece always creates and effortless vibe and I did not tuck in the sweater because I wanted it to just show a little bit of tulle giving it a Milan street fashion look. Adding a belt will accentuate your waist which I definitely needed in this Oversize sweater.

For my footwear, I matched the color of the sweater, so the Tulle skirt will pop, and all I was missing was a Beret. What do you think?

Fair Isles are the best way to dress up this outfit. And I think this is an awesome way of wearing this tulle skirt for your Christmas gathering or even just like that, because why not. This fair isle is from last year, but thats the beauty of it, once you buy it in a color, you are just pretty much set. Since I was wearing the color black, I decided to keep my other pieces in black as well since there was some more colors in the fair isle already and did not want to make the outfit look busy.

I chose to wear these heeled booties that dress up any outfit, and added a tweed blazer which is optional if you are home, but its a nice way of adding a bit of style. You can also go with plain blazer, but I thought adding a tweed style creates more drama and sophistication.
