H&M Fall Picks (2020) – Affordable & Stylish – Try-on Haul
Every season, I start my collection with some H&M pieces and there is a good reason for that. The basic range from H&M is affordable to start experimenting. And it seems like with every collection H&M has been doing better and better with its styles and fit for women with average figure and not really caters to skinny or model like sizing.
This is one of the biggest reason, I really have become fan of there collections over the year. I also find a lot of pieces that have lasted me for years. So, it was natural that I will start my fall collection with some of there pieces. At the end of this post I have also linked my H&M try on haul video, if you are interested, you can check how I have styled all of the pieces there.
But in this post I also have picked some more of my favorite styles from the fall collection and styled it with all of there pieces.
I am a Techie turned Fashion Blogger with a 13 year old and a complicated history of trying to find my style and confidence back after having my daughter at an early age.
I have finally found a happy medium where I don’t worry about my body instead enjoy my style my way and I want to help you with exactly that.

What I Bought?
The first two pieces are the plaid shirt dress and the cotton shacket which I would be living for a bit now because its lightweight and its really hot in California right now. So, even though I really want to wear all of the fall knits, its really tough to do that.
But this plaid shirt dress is bringing the fall look of plaid with a modern twist with the lilac combination and a cinch stitch detail on the waist. The length is perfect for me to wear it with tall boots or even over the knee boots in winter.
The shacket or the shirt jacket is such a huge trend this year, and I am all for it. I really wanted to see if I can rock the style before investing in an expensive piece and the lilac color is just the perfect fall touch. You know I love color and fall is no different for me. This jacket is really versatile and when needed, I can also make it a shirt. I am wearing a size Medium is all of the pieces that I tried because I like to have my fall clothes a little roomy which makes it comfortable for layering and mobility.
I also found this beautiful black tiered skirt dress with lilac floral print which literally called my name when I was ordering it online. The material is elastane lace which is lightweight for the current weather and it can easily be layered when it gets cooler. I love the waist lace detail which is really perfect for us women when we need to make the waist loose after lots of food or drinks.
I wanted to check some blouses as well that I can pair with my existing bottoms and make it more fall like. The first one is this pistachio color ruffle V-neck blouse that is giving me all of the bohemian vibes. I paired it with my black satin bias skirt from Anine Bing and it looks so chic and fall perfect.
The burnt orange blouse looks amazing with my black Slouchy jeans from Mango which is like my uniform these days. And for more of a work appropriate look I paired it with black loafers. I bought this nude blazer as well which is more of a linen blend but its still cozy enough to be paired with this outfit or with a lot of other pieces in my closet. A nude blazer is a perfect classic piece in your wardrobe.
More Of my H&M Favorites
I have also created 4 of my favorite fall looks which are easy, comfortable and stylish. And more importantly affordable to begin your fall wardrobe. These outfits are also perfect for this transitional weather.
Let me know which is your favorite look and if there are any more pieces from H&M that you would like me to style.
