How To Style White Ankle Boots with Block Heels

This style guide is all about styling different kinds of white ankle boots with your outfits effortlessly for fall and winter. White Ankle boots are the new black ankle boots actually.

They have gained so much popularity over the years, but for me they look way more elevated than black boots in general. But sometimes, you might be unsure of how to style them and make them look good in your everyday outfits. So in this blog post I am sharing all of the easy outfit formulas that you can use to effortlessly style white ankle boots.

There are 3 common styles and I am sharing how to style them with all your outfits.

White Chelsea Boots

Chelsea boots are one of the most popular styles and the way you can tell that they are Chelsea boats is by looking at the height and heel height of the boots.

These boots have a low ankle style and are easy to slip into and out of. The heels are also more on the flat side for boots, which makes them ideal as everyday boots that you can wear. They are also the most comfortable style of boots out there.

Whether you pick pointy toe, square toe or rounded toe, all of them are comfortable and look great on everyone. But when it comes to styling them, they need a bit more work than there back versions which you can wear with literally wear with anything and not worry about looking weird in them.

For me they are the best elevated causal boots that you can wear with your causal outfits without making them look boring. Since I started wearing white boots, I realized that they easily make my outfits stand out and I look way better than if I was wearing black ankle boots.

The boots that I am using to style these looks are the Marc Fisher Yale Chelsea Boots and these are he best budget friendly boots that look chic and are also great quality.

They are designer inspired boots but on a much affordable price. You can find the same style from Acne Studios Jensen boots which are way more expensive but the most popular designs of Chelsea boots.

This outfit is great for an everyday running errands. If you don’t feel like wearing colors, a striped t shirt can add some personality to your black and white monochrome looks.

The jeans in these outfits are cropped and frayed which looks effortless and is easy to style with these white Chelsea boots.

The Chelsea boots are short enough that a little bit of your ankle will be visible and that always looks chic.

In this outfit, I wanted to incorporate some colors, so I picked out a green sweater just to give you an idea that even if you wear black bottoms and a colored top, you can still wear these white Chelsea boots which will effortlessly compliment the entire look.

Because of the neutral tone of the boots, they dont stand out completely but make your outfit look more put together because you made an effort to combine colors.

The leather pants are again ankle length, so you can easily wear these boots with them without feeling like the pants are getting stuck around the boots.

Slouchy Jeans are my favorite jeans for all year around and you can also wear them in fall and winter. In this outfit, I wanted to create and easy business casual outfit with slouchy jeans.

And you can still wear these Chelsea boots with these jeans. In case the jeans are a bit longer for you, you can fold them and they will not look weird because of the tapered bottom style unlike any other style of jeans (except skinny jeans which you already know you can wear them with these boots).

White Heeled Ankle Boots

These boots also come under the Chelsea boots, but they have higher heels which makes them look dressier and more feminine compared to the regular Chelsea boots. But they can still be called the same and you will also find these options when you search for Chelsea boots.

But because of the heels the versatility of these boots increases. Unlike the normal Chelsea boots which look a bit weird when you wear them with dresses or skirts, these ones can easily be worn with both.

This is my kind of boots when I want to feel a bit dressed up but at the same time be comfortable.

I love wearing them with mid length dresses or even midi skirts. I wouldn’t still wear them with short dresses because they cut off the ankle right where you want them to visible hence making you shorter and in urn you can look bulky in these boots.  This is because of the chunkier style.

For the heeled white ankle boots I am using the really popular Marc Fisher Mayden Booties. The heel height makes them feminine and also bohemian.

These booties are Marc Fisher’s evergreen collection that comes back almost every year.

These are also common heeled boots style that you will see on other brands as well. The part that I love the most are the pointy toe which will make your legs look a mile long.

Pleated midi skirts are a great alternative to pants or jeans when you get bored of them. In this outfit, I wanted to add a pop of color with this really pretty pleated skirt in pumpkin spice shade.

I paired it with oversized sweater which are also white which makes it effortless. In general you can wear this outfit just like this, but in case you feel cold, I added a long cardigan which looks like a coat as well.

The long coat makes the length the same as the skirt which looks way more flattering since there are a lot of shapes and lines, and you don’t want to look short.

A long coat always is better when you are wearing ankle boots.

These ankle boots look really flattering with sweater dresses as well. I love midi sweater dresses because then I do not have to worry about wearing tights to feel cozier.

Paired with long coat, this outfit is great for everyday wear and also a business casual work look.

The long coat hitting you around the same length as the midi dress won’t make you look shorter because the outfit is not creating multiple breaks on your body.

Black Leggings will look the best with these ankle boots even though they are contrasting color. We all know that with black boots, you will look even taller, but you can still achieve the same styling and elongated look with white ankle boots.

This is because of the boots being in a neutral ankle boots with heels. The long oversized sweater and he similar length of the blazer coat will create an edgy yet effortless fall and winter look where you can still rock these white ankle boots.

White Combat Boots

These are by far the most comfortable boots and that is why the most popular style that almost everyone owns one of. Even though you don’t have a white one, you might have a different color or a black one.

But they look amazing in white. I love how clean and luxurious these combat style boots look in  white color compared to the same boots in black. White is an easy way you can make your entire outfit look way more expensive than it is.

Combat boots are also great for winter when the weather gets significantly cold but you don’t want to wear tall boots yet. But at the same time these boots are very casual and also look chunky. So, wearing them with bulkier bottoms is never a good idea.

I actually prefer wearing them with cropped jeans which are skinny because then you look leaner in these boots even though they are chunkier. And with the cropped style jeans, you won’t have the problem of creating a lump around your ankle because of the excess fabric.

I am wearing these ivory combat boots from Seychelles, one of the brands I absolutely love and go back to for boots.

These combat boots are not too bulky with a more narrower design. And with contrast sole and heels they look feminine and still casual.

They have side zip open, so once you have figured out your comfortable lace fit, you do not have to tie the laces again.

With White skinny jeans you can create a winter white look, but paired with monochromatic tops, this outfit looks way more elevated.

And even though the white combat boots are really casual, with this particular monochromatic outfit combination, you easily look effortlessly chic.

Monochromatic looks can elevate and create a much more put together look, so even if you want to o all white or wear neutral colors, you will still end looking more put together.

I love a dark and white color pairing, this way the contrast in color creates such a chic look. And these jeans are curve friendly as well.

This is a great way to wear your summer short dresses and still be cozy in fall. With this style of casual boots, I always love to wear something dressy so that I can balance the style and create a look that is still put together but at the sometime feels comfortable too.

I am adding a white coat to this outfit to stay cozy in the cold weather and look luxurious in the casual combo. But you can also pair black or other colored coat matching the prints in the dress.

Because everything looked white in this outfit, I added some color with a brown bag, but if you have a lot of colors in the dress, you can totally choose a black bag.

This outfit is a great work look for fall and winter. In fall you can just wear the turtleneck sweater and skirt set and the combat boots.

The bias style sweater skirt looks chic and stylish and adds a feminine balance to the casual combat boots.

And as the weather gets cooler you can layer on a Long coat to add more layer and warmth to this outfit without having to wear tights.

This is another effortless look that you can recreate in any color palette. Bias skirts always look feminine and a fun twist to a midi skirt and in the woolen material they become perfect fall and winter piece too.

I hope this post inspired you to wear more of the white ankle boots this fall and winter. Which one is your favorite outfit that you are going to try on.
