A solid colored slip dress is the most common one, and most of us own one. In this look, I simply wore a cropped patterned sweater that not only added some coziness but also some personality to a simple slip dress.
I kept my accessories simpler, but you can totally wear boots with this outfit combination. A patterned sweater will elevate the look even more specially when the slip dress is plain.
If you have a printed slip dress, a simpler pattern of the sweater will look much better. This way your fall look does not appear as busy.
The awesome part about the slip dress is that you can also layer them with short sleeve sweaters as well. I added a narrow belt which creates a subtle waistline since the ends of the sweater also falls around the hip which can cut you off.
