While there are those puff sleeve dresses, opt for more simpler styles. Like A-line dresses with simpler sleeve styles or halterneck for a special occasion. These dresses are epitome of luxury and look so chic.
You look more polished because not a lot of things are happening here. And you will look feminine. This is also a time to add some prints to your dresses. And that sometimes makes your outfit look busy or loud. But if you pick them in simpler styles, you can still rock prints but also look chic and elegant.
In terms of length of the dress, I think that is a personal choice, but Ankle length dresses always look great on any body type. You are still show a bit of skin with the ankle being visible, but you also look more elegant and taller in ankle length dresses.

The Elevated Bomber Jacket
I am so excited for this to be a real style now. But I hate the original bomber jacket, with elastic wrist band and ruched bottom seam. It just looks childish and something you can rock only to the gym maybe.
But the new bomber jacket is the elevated version that we all have been waiting for. It looks sophisticated. There is a collar involved and no cinched wristband or bottom seams.
I can’t tell you how excited I am for these. They instantly update your casual or even polished looks.
And you can wear them with dresses, skirts as well as jeans. The new bomber jacket is much more versatile and put together and the best staple in your closet that you can wear all spring.
You don’t have to go for boring black color, you can try other shades that you can wear all year round as well.

Denim Jacket Redefined
Ok, you know I hate denim jackets, but I have to say, I am forced to change my mind after looking at the reinvented denim jackets. They are polished and elevated, nothing like the denim jacket us millennial wore when we were teens. Which is where they actually belonged. But we somehow started wearing them in our 20s and 30s.
I know they are comfortable, but they look so bad with that pretty skirt or dress you are wearing it with. But now with these new denim styles, you have the liberty to wear denim jacket with your prettiest and cutest outfits.
They also look good with work outfits. Isn’t that amazing. Sharing some of my favorite styles.
Matching Sets
You will see them everywhere. Whether its a matching top and skirt, or matching blacking and pants they are everywhere. And honestly I am not complaining about them at all.
They look fun and with a matching you can put together so many different outfits because they are multi wear.
The matching sets I am most excited about are top and long pencil skirt styles. They look sophisticated and fun. The pencil skirt looks sophisticated and elegant. And the matching top makes it really easy to wear with anywhere, because it looks chic for going out and polished for work outfit.

Pink Is Everywhere
I am so glad pink is back in style for us this year, because this is a shade you can wear anywhere and look really chic wearing it. Its soft and adds an elegance to your look, but at the same time its fun and flirty.
It also makes you look younger. My favorite ways to wear pink is in tops, cardigans and blazers. But this year, I am seeing pink shoes in kitten heels and mary jane. And they all look so fun to wear.
You can also go for a simple pink dress that looks so soft and feminine. And add black or white depending on your mood to create chic looks.

Polka dots
They never went out of style, but polka dots are coming back with a bang in different ways. You can wear a polka dotted dress and be adorned with it from head to toe. Or you can add them as a detail in a top.
I love polka dots in black and white shades where the polka dots don’t look as crazy as they would in other shades. This also makes your outfit look polished and classy. I mean if that’s what you are going for?
I personally find polka dots a very bold pattern, do keeping them toned down in black and white shades is the perfect way to do it.
But if you want to experiment with colors, a good way would be to wear really small polka dots. This way they are there for they don’t look crazy.
Striped Everything
Striped shirts have become one of my favorite styles this season. They are sophisticated, polished and look so fun. They also look great on everyone. Now, I prefer vertical stripes in button down shirts and have a whole post rounding up the best ones for you. But you can also go for horizontal stripes but only in a tshirt form.
But you can also find striped dresses and skirts this season which makes your outfit interesting but still simple.
This is the trick to add more detail to your look.
