Wondering what colors to wear this fall
I am going to share the best colors and color combinations you can wear this fall. And how to look great in it. Because that is our biggest challenge, how can we look stylish in colors.
The Basic Fall Colors to Wear
Why am I calling them basic? Because these shades are recycled every year from most brands in some form or another. And they should be the staple colors in your fall wardrobe that will go well with everything else you are pairing.
Now, I am not going to add black, brown to this mix because we know they are the fall colors. You should also have some white in there. Even if you heard it from some Fashion guru not to wear the shade. You can absolutely wear white in fall.
Here are the top fall basic colors:
- Forest Green
- Burnt Orange / Clay
- Dull Yellow
- Burgundy
- Pumpkin Spice / Orange
I am sure you have something or the other in these shades. Most skin tones can wear this shade, so not to stress too much. But if you really want to pick colors for your skin tone.
- On lighter skin tone, Burnt Orange / Clay and Dull Yellow looks calming and Forest Green and Burgundy looks bright.
- For darker skin tone Forest Green and Burgundy looks great, but Clay and Dull Yellow are not that flattering. If you want you can skip dull yellow and just wear regular yellow, that will do too.
- Orange is one shade that looks great on light and dark skin tone. Here is where it gets a little specific. If you have orange undertone in your skin, you should avoid orange. Yellow would be a great alternative. How would you know this, ask your makeup specialist at the beauty counter! They will be able to tell you right away.
