What to Wear with Striped Full Sleeve Top in Fall

A fitted striped full sleeve top is one of my favorite and really versatile clothing item for fall and winter. In this outfit formula, I will share one of the easiest formulas you can use to style your favorite striped top, a chance to upgrade you existing one if it has seen better days. Or if you are new to striped top, this would be a great way to see why you should at least own one.

In this outfit formula I am using the Ralph Lauren striped shoulder button top that is fitted so its really easy to layer on and look put together in.

But if you are looking for a relaxed fit one, & other stories has a bit of boxier fit that will feel much more relaxed.

Cold weather outfits are usually solid and darker in color for most of us. Even if you want to wear colors, you always end up wearing solid colored pieces because they are easier to style and wear with anything else in your wardrobe.

And instead of this being a sweater, you can use a full sleeve top that is perfect for in between weather, so you can layer on when needed. Or take of the layer and just wear the top when you are too warm.

These stripes are called Breton stripes, they are thicker stripes so add more interest to your outfit. I honestly prefer the thicker stripes compared to narrow ones, because the narrow stripe t shirts look busier. The Breton stripes just look more classy to me.

This is a classic outfit combination for all year round. You can simply change the material of the top to suit the weather. Trust me I wear it that way. I reviewed these ribcage straight leg jeans from Levis because I realized how good quality they are and I have been wearing them for more than a year now. The solid black color makes them structured and stylish. They almost look like pants and add sophistication to your outfit.

The beauty of black jeans is that you can wear any colored striped top with it, so if you have one which has navy stripes instead of black, you can still rock them with black jeans.

And when it comes to jewelry, because of all the stripes, I did not want to add a lot of necklace, but at the same time a dainty one won’t even be visible. So, adding a chunky necklace is a better option. And it also adds a vintage touch to the outfit.
