Classy Fall Capsule Wardrobe To Look Polished This Fall Easily

I have done so many camping that now I know for sure I am a Glamping gal. And honestly glamping is so much better than camping where you perpetually feel dirty. Sorry, I said it.

A lot of glamping sites have proper bed, shower and other amenities that give you a bit of luxury while still living closer to the nature and experiencing it. But what to actually wear so you look like you are in the nature but you still look polished so you can go out for dinner in the town. And of course take some awesome pics.

You can look like you are at a luxury resort or you cannot look like you are camping in the woods. So here is what to wear so you look chic and stay comfortable while Glamping in the woods.

I recently went to stay at Under the Canvas in Yellowstone and I wish I would have written this post before I went there, I probably would have had better outfits for sure. Though I did manage to have some cute looks. But I could have done better if I had written this post before.

What Activities You Might Do At Glamping

There are so many things you will be doing, so I would not know exactly. But here are some popular activities we all love doing at Glamping. Its always good to plan those activities so you know you are prepared to have a good time.

  • Morning Walks
  • Hiking
  • Spending the evening outdoors by the fire pit making smores
  • Brunch at a restaurant
  • Going out somewhere nice in the evening
  • Swimming in the lake or river
  • Picnic in the nature

Based on these activities that you have to bring layers even if gets hot during the day, it gets chilly at night if you are living by the forest or waterfront and you need to have layers so you stay comfortable even at night.

Day Time Glamping Outfit Ideas

Most of us do glamping in the summer weather and even if its fall or spring, days with the sun shining over your head will be warm and you will feel hot when you spend more time out in the sun. So, wearing clothes that are breathable and you can layer on is key to staying comfortable and looking chic. So these outfit ideas are perfect for looking cute hiking, hanging out by the water or just strolling out into the town nearby for lunch or brunch.

outfit #1

Tee + Utility Pants + Hiking Shoes + Jacket

This outfit is perfect for a rough and tough day hiking or checking out nature. And with the hiking shoes you can comfortably walk for miles without any trouble.

The jacket will keep you warm as the temperature drops. This outfit looks cute and functional with the utility pants. I was really comfortable hiking and checking out hot springs in Yellowstone.

outfit #2

Tank Top + Jacket + Utility Shorts + Hiking Shoes

On a hot summer day when you just want to have lighter layers this outfit would be great with utility shorts. You can wear a full sleeve or a tank top and carry a jacket for layering as it gets darker.

The slingback backpack is lightweight and great to carry water and snacks. I bought this exact one and absolutely loved it. It was not bulky like regular backpacks, and carried everything including my tripod for picture moments.

outfit #3

Tee + Jacket + Ankle Pants + Shoes

This is another casual hiking outfit that you can look cute in while staying functional. The barrel leg pants are comfortable and moisture wicking as well. So even if you sweat, the fabric won’t feel annoying to wear.

The stripe tee adds an interesting touch and changes up the look. You can take some cute hiking pictures without just wearing athletic clothes. The quilted jacket is lightweight but helps stay warm.

Swimsuit + Jacket + Pull On Pants + Sandals

If you have a lake nearby, you will be going there for some water fun or to cool down. And this hiking outfit is perfect for that. The pull on pants are easy to take off and look cute to take some chic pictures in.

I added a shirt as a third layer over the swimsuit. And when you are changing out of the swimsuit, you can still wear this outfit and look chic. The waterproof sandals are also amazing for wearing in the wilderness where you are not worried that your shoes will get wet.

Night Time Glamping Outfit Ideas

At night you are either headed to a nearby town for a nice dinner or you are enjoying your meal by the campfire while also making smores.

You can wear normal clothes and not camping clothes to be comfortable and look chic. And because you are staying in a glamp site, you can change into something nicer.  That is why I love glamping.

So sharing outfit ideas that will keep you cozy but looking chic.

outfit #5

Black Full Sleeves + Blue Jeans + Vest Jacket + Boots

I literally wore this outfit to the town to have dinner at a cute restaurant and you need outfits like these ones when you are planning to go to civilization. That is the fun part of glamping, you can take a break when you want to.

This outfit is so simple and yet it looks chic and polished. The boots will keep you warm and are comfortable to walk in as well. The full sleeves top will keep you warm as the night gets colder.

Things To Pack To Stay Cozy

This has happened many times with me, so I don’t want it to happen to you. I have forgotten these key things that will keep you comfortable on a glamping trip. And these are not just clothing items.

  • Baseball hat so you can go on hikes protecting your face.
  • Sun hat for water days
  • Waterproof slides so you don’t get your only sandals wet.
  • Cozy socks to sleep in because if you are sleeping in a tent, it gets really cold at night. This saved us at Yellowstone.
  • Beanie to stay comfy at night.
  • Thermal layers if the temperature is suppose to be really cold.

Hope you liked all the glamping outfit ideas. Let me know if you have any questions.
