Wondering how to look polished and stylish in colors this winter or tired of just wearing black? In this post I am sharing 5 classy color combinations that will always look stylish and anyone can rock them.

Winter season does not mean you have to always wear dark tone clothes and when I say dark tone, its mostly black. This can get pretty boring and your style overall suffers. But these winter color combinations look absolutely chic and also have dark tone shades.

So you can still wear dark colors but also wear vibrant colors together to create a chic and stylish cold weather outfits.

5 Best Winter Color Combinations

Burgundy with Red

This has become my all time favorite color combo. Both colors are from the same color family, so your outfit instantly looks monochromatic even if its not. Burgundy is a dark tone shade that is a really popular color for cold weather. Because of its darkness you feel like you are wearing black, but it’s not as intense as black.

Paired with red, burgundy acts like a base shade and really looks polished. Whether you are wearing a skirt and sweater or pants with a sweater, this combination will look classy and elevated.

And it does not matter whether you are light skinned or dark toned. Burgundy with red color combo will look great on everyone.

Pink With Forest Green

Wearing pink with forest green is a rare combination but it works wonders. This is an excellent way to pair a skirt or pants that you would normally wear in the spring weather with a darker winter shade to create a fun and stylish winter look.

The softness of pink balances perfectly with the strong dark tone shade like forest green. While forest green is considered a color, it also feels dark and a popular winter shade.

The pink shade adds a freshness to forest green that can feel boring and basic. This works best even if you pair forest green pants with pink sweater or like I have styled them together. The overall pink outfit paired with the forest green coat looks fresh and perfect for a special occasion.

The pink shade just looks so good with green here.

Plum with Denim

Plum shade became really popular since last year. You can literally find it in all kinds of clothes. But my favorite way to wear it with jeans. And what better shade than dark wash jeans.

This is such an easy color combination that you can wear as a daily outfit. Or pick polished clothing items like button down shirt and create a more sophisticated look.

I love that this color combo is absolutely effortless and something you can throw on literally everyday confidently. I mean if you just could not wear dark wash jeans in the winter, now you can absolutely wear it.

You can create stylish work outfits with this color combination or casual everyday looks that are chic.

Red with Tan

I was pleasantly surprised by the red and tan color combination. Now in this outfit that I am sharing with you, I do have a black skirt, but you can absolutely change that with a red skirt or a tan one and see how cool it looks.

Its a great color combo which you can rock post holiday season even if you are wearing red. Yes, it does feel weird to wear red after the holidays are over. But i felt confident with this color combo. The tan or camel shade tones down the brightness of red. This transforms this look into a wearable outfit that does not stand out a lot.

That is a big issue with red, it feels very special occasionwear. But pairing it with a neutral shade like camel balances the color palette and makes it much more wearable.

So for ladies who feel uncomfortable in red, you can wear it now confidently.

Powder Blue with Navy

This is my favorite color combination that looks effortless and anyone can rock. And literally all of us have something navy and light wash denim. Now whether you have a powder blue coat, or use a navy coat instead, you can still create a chic outfit.

In fact I have received so many compliments when I wore this outfit. You can wear this look to anywhere and look polished and sophisticated even if you are wearing jeans.

Since powder blue and navy are from the same color family. This outfit not only looks stylish is also so easy to put together.

You can make a night time look by swapping light wash jeans with navy pants and now you have a date night look.
