If you love date nights or casual dining out events but sometimes dread what to wear, then I am sharing 7 casual yet chic outfits that you can rock every single day of the week and you can take to your date nights too.
I am a fan of functional style and shopping for items that I can wear in different places. So a lot of the pieces that I used to put together these looks are clothes that you can wear everyday.
This way you can get more out of your entire closet. As a fashion blogger my goal is to share that knowledge with you.
Jeans + Bodysuit
This is the easiest look to put together and something that you can take to a day tie as well as a night time as well. I love wearing bodysuits specially for any special occasion because, it won’t come out of a tick like regular t shirts. Also, it gives a more put together look.
I paired this black bodysuit from Loft with Levis straight leg ankle jeans which are relaxed creating a balance in proportion which is key to looking effortlessly chic.
For the shoes, I went with my black Castaner espadrille wedges that add more chicness as well as the heels make it look like a night time outfit without the discomfort. Espadrilles are my favorite summer footwear and I reviewed these one from Castaner as well.
I usually never leave the house without a jacket because its California and the weather changes drastically from day to night, so I added a blue faux leather jacket from Blanknyc. The jacket completes this cohesive look.
Handbags are personal preferences, but I chose a smaller back which looks more appropriate for night out looks. And I wanted to add more gold details, so paired a western style belt.

T Shirt Dress
A T shirt dress can be an amazing date night outfit as well with the right accessories. In this outfit I am wearing an ankle length t shirt dress from Free people. I have two colors in this and I don’t think so it has to be just black. Any color should do, but with the black one, you effortlessly create a night time look.
I added a belt to waist since the dress is straight and my waist looked invisible in it. But adding a belt also gives a casual look some structure.
I wore my black strappy sandals from Schutz because they are perfect for night out events, as well as they elongate my legs since the dress is pretty much covering all of it.
I am usually a color kind of person if you dont know that already about me, so I added a pop of color with pale yellow blazer. If you have a camel or tan blazer that could work as well. I feel like going with black blazer would make the outfit too serious and after all date nights are for fun.
I am again using the small pouch bag which adds to the lady like vibe this outfit is giving.
T Shirt + Long Shorts
Creating a monochromatic look with any color always looks so chic and will look amazing for date night as well. I feel like it takes all the effort out of creating a cohesive outfit together.
So, in this outfit I paired blue crewneck t shirt with blue criss cross shorts from Agolde. These shorts style makes them look sophisticated and stylish.
As you can already tell that I am pretty much matching everything up, but if you don’t have a blue blazer opt for a white or a black depending on what footwear you are wearing. Since I am wearing white sandals, I can swap the blue blazer with a white one.
These sandals add a feminine touch to the otherwise super laid back look. Whats your thought?
I also added layered necklace since the t shirt looked extremely plain.

Wide leg Jeans + T Shirt
If you have a formal or even business casual dress code at work, then this look would be perfect for daytime to after work drinks. Wide leg jeans are another really comfortable jeans to own and they look flattering on everyone.
These black wide leg jeans are so black that they actually look like trousers and are awesome for work. I added a padded shoulder T shirt in pastel yellow which adds a summer and more structured look to this outfit.
Adding a black blazer to this outfit gave a suit style that is my absolute favorite. But for my footwear, rather than wearing pumps I am wearing platform sandals which look great and also are comfortable way to add some height to wide leg pants.
I went with a regular crossbody bag that also looks good for work and after work.
Bermuda Shorts + T Shirt
Bermuda shorts have become my new favorites in shorts because of these incredible new style compared to the really fitted Bermuda shorts I have been used to looking at. This one is from & other stories and my absolute favorite. They have now come up with a new version which I am sharing.
Since the leg style is not narrow but relaxed and straight, there is more room to style them. I paired another padded shoulder t shirt but black in color to add a night time look and my Castaner black espadrilles to complete this cohesive look.
But I decided to add a pop of color with a pink blazer and pink bag. This is option, but I always feel like adding a 3rd layer to any outfit always elevates the look and actually completes it.
Boho Top + Denim Midi Skirt
Another one of my favorite clothing piece for summer are Denim skirt specially this midi skirt which has the perfect summer style to all my looks. Denim skirts feel so bohemian to me, so I paired the skirt with this printed puff sleeve t shirt in navy from Ann Taylor. Super cute look that you can wear during day time as well as night time as well.
I wore platform sandals to give this look a retro touch, but heeled shoes are not mandatory at all with this outfit. This outfit will also look great with flat sandals because of the front slit of the skirt that shows some legs.
I finished this look with Blue tone handbag and blue blazer, but you can also complete this look with black blazer and black bag as well. Which makes this look versatile isn’t it. Swap the third layer and accessories, and you have a whole new look.
Boho Top + Slouchy Jeans
This is my favorite look and an outfit that is versatile for both everyday and special occasion. I am wearing my favorite jeans from Mango which are called slouchy jeans. These are so comfortable, yet they look stylish because of the pleated style.
I am wearing a puff three fourth sleeve top with smock details on the front that gives it a bohemian vibe. Adding some print to this look was perfect because that adds some personality.
I added thong slides that are heeled and are white since the top does have some similar tone and I wanted to elongate my legs which these slides are absolutely doing. Because I wanted to create a bohemian look, I went with a straw crossbody bag whose leather flap matches the slides.
This to me is a perfect everyday summer bohemian look. You can swap the heels with flat to make it more comfortable and still perfect for any occasion.
