8 Ways On How To Look Expensive In Jeans For Classy Everyday Looks

If you’re a fan of wearing jeans but want to elevate your look to exude elegance and sophistication, you’re in the right place. In this guide, I’ll walk you through eight actionable steps to transform your jeans outfits into polished, high-end ensembles. Let’s dive in and see how to look expensive in jeans without a lot of hassle.

This year has been the year of old money looks but they can be a bit tricky to achieve when you are making some of the mistakes I have shared in this post.

8 Tips On How To Look Expensive In Jeans

Ditch the Cheap-Looking Jeans

The foundation of how to look expensive in jeans lies in choosing the right pair of jeans. Avoid styles with rips, holes, contrasting double stitching, or excessive embroidery. Opt for solid colors such as classic blue, black, or dark wash jeans.

These hues exude simplicity and class, making them suitable for various body types and skin tones.

Here are the jeans you need to avoid if you want to look stylish:

  1. Ripped Jeans: Whether it’s slight ripped or extreme ripped, they will never look expensive even if you have paid like $300 for them. Just go for non rip jeans. Much classier.
  2. Faded Jeans: Another popular style that I never liked and you should not either. These look cheap and childish.
  3. Studded Jeans: I know western style jeans are a thing and they are trendy. But if you want to look expensive, then avoid them. They look tacky.
  4. Gray Jeans: Now, a lot of you would be like why this color. For some reason, this shade looks old and worn out even if the jeans are brand new.

Choose Flattering Jean Styles

Not all jeans styles are created equal. Embrace straight leg jeans and wide-leg jeans for a more refined and sophisticated appearance. These jeans have a relaxed fit that gives you an effortless look. And they also look great on all body type.

Instead of figure hugging jeans these styles feel elegant and classy.

Reserve skinny jeans for the colder seasons, pairing them with tall, structured boots for an elevated and luxe look. This way you can enjoy wearing them but the knee high boots will elevate them as well.

But if you want to wear skinny jeans in warmer months as well, my next tips will help you with styling them.

Pair with Elegant Tops

The key to elevating your jeans outfit is in the pairing. While a simple white button-down or a silk shirt instantly adds a touch of class, be mindful of the tops you choose.

Offer blouses, shirts, and tops that exude sophistication and an elevated, put-together aesthetic. For a casual look, opt for crew neck relaxed-fit t-shirts that effortlessly elevate your outfit without compromising comfort.

In the cold weather pick the right style of sweaters with your jeans so you can create a sophisticated and elevated style.

Avoid wearing tacky tops like cut outs or weird prints and patterns that does not look elegant. And most of them are easy to spot. And let’s not forget cheap fabrics that can cheapen your look.
