Style Of The Jacket
I was on the look out for a Moto black leather jacket that is minimalist so it does not look too edgy or intense when I pair it with feminine outfits and workwear. This jacket does not have a lot of hardware buttons, I love that the zippers are also almost invisible. And from the from view you cannot see the zippers on the arms or a lot of size pocket zippers.
This is a common problem that I have seen in most leather jackets that steers me away from them. But this one caught my eye right away because of the simplistic style that compliments my outfits and not over power them.
I am usually a size 6 o 8 in outerwear, but I purposely picked size 8 to give some room to this jacket and I was nervous that it will look bulky on the body. I was impressed with the style, even though you would think this jacket will look bulkier around the hip, it falls perfectly without making me look bigger.
This might be because of the excellent choice of the lining fabric which is lightweight and slimmer silhouette of the jacket.

Length Of The Jacket
If you size up, a lot of leather jackets fit longer and then that looks too big on you. I am glad that this jacket did not do that. I was looking for a length that falls on my hip, not shorter or longer, this way, it looks relaxed but not oversized.
And with this jacket, I just achieved that. If falls on my hip looking so chic and also looks like it fits me correctly and I didn’t borrow it from my older sister, hahaha. You know what I mean.
Feel Of The Jacket
You are always worried that leather jackets will be heavy and not at all comfortable. This jacket is completely opposite. Its pretty lightweight, it almost feels like wearing a blazer. Yes, its pretty lightweight.
The brand has done such a good job in creating this design that helps keeping the jacket light and translates into an elegant look on anyone.
The leather material is textured, but at the same time, the texture is not too evident. You only see the details from close up. But because of the texture, the jacket is not at all shiny, which is the biggest reason for me to keep it as well. And I have seen my fair share of leather jackets.
Price Point Of the Jacket
Yes, the price does sound expensive if you are used to the inexpensive cost of faux leather jacket. But if you try any other decent brand, leather jackets range from $500 – $1000 depending on the make and brand.
In fact I picked up a white leather jacket from Banana republic, and it costed me $500 plus tax.
So, while it might seem a pricey purchase initially, if you are like me who likes to have 1 quality black leather jacket, then you will get a lot more wear out of it all year round.
