If you are looking for some haircare products that you want to carry with you to the beach then these are the only 5 products you would need. These products will make your hair look so good and most importantly not frizzy with all the humidity and constant washing.
I recently went to a beach vacation myself and these are the only products I used. And I did not take any heat protectants with me.
Lets get to the details.
Shampoo
I took with me the new Olaplex No. 4 because I wanted to protect my fine hair from the constant salt water soaking and washing everyday after my beach days.
And I have to say this shampoo did not let my hair feel disappointed. The awesome part is that this bottle will go for a long time. I just need a little bit for my medium size hair and my hair is all washed and clean.
It also really smells really nice so that is a bonus. The bottle costs $28 just like all other products, but after me and my husband using it for almost a week, I still have so much more left. So, I think the price is apt for the amount you get.
Conditioner
Ofcourse, if I took the shampoo, the conditioner was coming with it. And the Olaplex No. 5 conditioner is lightweight and it still hydrates your hair. Usually most conditioners that promise hydration and strength usually add a lot of oil to your hair.
The Olaplex No. 5 is really lightweight but it still feels hydrating and my hair after salty water. And it also does not stick as much as the other conditioners. It washes up properly and my hair does not feel sticky.
The cost is the same, its $28. And I honestly love that the fragrance is the same as the shampoo.
Leave In Conditioner
I did not pack any heat style protectant because of the Olaplex No. 6 Bond smoother. This protect is the magic potion for my hair. And this is a combination of leave in conditioner and heat protectant.
After washing my hair, I apply this to the ends of my hair and then blow dry and style it accordingly. I have been using this bottle for month and a little bit goes a long way.
I think this product will help keep your luggage light and hair care routine simpler. If you are interested, I have a whole review about the olaplaex No. 6 and how to use it. Check the post below.
SOMETHING YOU MIGHT LIKE
Hair Spray
If you style your hair, you should also need to carry hairspray and it is really important with humidity. The hair spray will hold your styled hair in tact. And I absolutely love the new Tresemme Natural finish hair spray.
No matter how many hair sprays I have used, I always come back to Tresemme because they definitely know what they are doing. This hairspray is just the perfect one for humid climate.
This hairspray is really lightweight and feels like nothing after you apply it. But the hold is amazing and your hairstyle stays the whole day. And for the price, its just a steal.
The awesome part is that the bottle is light as well. So it won’t feel like you are carrying a lot.
Dry Shampoo
You might think you don’t need dry shampoo, but with humidity your hair might get oily faster than in dry climate. And if you have fine hair like myself, your hair will fall flat and loose all its bounciness pretty quickly.
That is why carrying a dry shampoo will definitely come in handy and I am so glad that I bought the Anomaly dry shampoo. This is a brand new product in target that promises no white residue when you spray it on your roots and it delivers that.
So far, there is not a single occurrence of white residue when I have used it on my hair or on my daughters. And I instantly see a lift in my roots after rubbing it on. And it also works on 3rd day hair as it claims.
For $7.39 its a steal. I am sure you will love it as much as I do.
I hop this post helps with your dilemma of figuring out what products you should carry with you on your next beach vacation. Please let me know if you have any questions about any of the products.
